ANOTHER CONTRACTING FIND...
Well like I did when I found the great window people that re-did all the windows in my home, I'm sending this out to homeowners who may want to use or refer a great roofing company.
I recently had to use a roofer as a result of a tree falling on our house. This company, `Re-Roofing Ontario` was referred by my insurance company. I would highly recommend them. They are thorough, kept the exterior of the yard clean and were respectful of property. Steve, the owner is a great guy - very good work ethic. And of course, his prices were quite reasonable; quality of work very good.
They are coming back to do other work on the roof in the spring, but I thought I would share, as finding good folks as you know is always difficult.

It is with pleasure that I take this opportunity to endorse the work of Mr. Steve Sweeney of Re-Roofing Ontario. Several years ago, he installed new roof shingles on my home in Scarborough. He was recommended to me by my neighbours, who were also very pleased with the manner in which he had solved a long-existing problem in their home. They also were very impressed with his willingness to please and his fine workmanship.
After meeting Mr. Sweeney, it was not difficult to select him to install my roof shingles, as compared to prior quotes I had received, he was much more thorough, spent time with me, returned with more alternative samples upon my request and gave me by far the most detailed cost quote than I had received from others. The patient, informative manner in which he explained the roofing procedure gave me further confidence that he was the man to do the job. I have had many compliments on his workmanship, both on the roof he installed and on several other non-roofing related areas in which Mr. Sweeney has since improved in and around my home. It is apparent to me that he is a careful craftsman, who takes pride in his work.
Mr. Sweeney was always dependable and on a few occasions, when he could not be here exactly when planned, he always called ahead to explain why and arrange a satisfactory alternative. I was especially impressed with how thoroughly he cleaned the work site each day before leaving. I have seen many construction jobs left otherwise, with dangerous nails and debris, etc. not cleaned away.
As a senior, I much appreciate that on several occasions, Mr. Sweeney gave me a hand on his own time at the end of the day when he saw I needed help. I found him to be always pleasant, helpful and friendly. But, most importantly, completely trustworthy when working in or out of my home. I have been pleased to recommend Mr. Steve Sweeney of Re-Roofing Ontario to others in need of his expertise.

My husband and I picked Steve Sweeney of Re-Roofing Ontario to do our roof, as we had seen the excellent job he did on his roof, as well as several of our neighbours.
He was very friendly and extremely helpful. Gave us plenty of advice on colour, the different types, quality and year length of shingles. He helped us understand the different types of roof vents and what would be best for us.
He also gave us a few addresses to look at the colour of shingles on different houses to help us make the right choice, as well as the samples to choose from. He answered all our questions.
His job was quick and everything was spotless, when he was done. He was always professional and courteous. In my opinion we picked the right person for the job.

Re-Roofing Ontario did the roof on my house and I am completely satisfied with them. They were punctual according to the pre-arranged time. Their work was professional, as witnessed by my neighbours, who were amazed at their diligent attention to the task. At the end, they cleaned up all the mess and disposed of the waste.
As a finicky customer, I noted that they worked from 8am to 8pm the first day. They had said the job would take two days and they gave it all the time needed - no half measures!
Also, I asked for more than expected, as I wanted some pictures of the 'before' and 'after'. Steve Sweeney had no problem with my request.
They were prompt, polite, professional and did a perfect job.
I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone with roof problems.
